The APhA Complete Review for Pharmacy Companion Test CD is included with the book and contains over 900 pharmacy questions from 36 of the 37 content chapters. (No questions and answers appear from our second chapter, Federal Pharmacy Law, since that information is not covered in the pharmacy board exam.)
The pharmacy exam interactive CD includes two test-taking modes:
Certification Mode - This mode is similar to taking a true pharmacy test. The answers are not available before the question is answered. If a pharmacy question is answered incorrectly, the program will display the correct answer and the explanation. If the user does not know the answer, the pharmacy question can be marked for later review, skipped, and returned to later.
Learning Mode - This mode allows the user to modify pharmacy test-taking options, which include:
The ability to randomly shuffle the pharmacy questions.
Enabling a “Show Answers” button that will show the correct pharmacy exam answer.
Enabling an “Explanation” button that will display the correct pharmacy exam answer with an explanation.
Pharmacy test-takers may select the order of questions on an individual-chapter basis from a drop-down box. Complete statistics are calculated and presented for each exam taken.
Pharmacy exam study tips, culled from each of the 37 chapters, are available in pdf format for viewing and printing.
